The 5th International Household and Family Research Conference
The University of Joensuu is hosting the 5th International Household and Family Research Conference in Savonlinna 6-9 June 2006.
The 5th International Household and Family Research Conference invites researchers in Home Economics, Consumer and Family Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Food Sciences, Social and Behavioural Sciences, Technology Studies, Textiles, Crafts and Design Sciences and related fields, to discuss and exchange ideas and experiences on the various aspects of sustainable development.
The Conference focuses on visions and innovations for sustainable good life from a variety of academic disciplines under the following themes:
1. Home Economics and Family Sciences
2. Textile and Craft Design
3. Education
4. Consumer Sciences
Responsible organiser is University of Joensuu working in collaboration with University of Helsinki and National Consumer Research Centre.
Final deadline for submission of abstracts is on 15th of October, 2005.
