TransDel (Transnational Deliberation - Elements of Influence in Transnational Deliberative Democratic Processes) 2011-2014

The TransDel project proposes contributes to the development of transnational deliberative democratic processes by 1) studying empirically the impacts of some of the first transnational DDP processes, thus providing knowledge about a new empirical phenomenon, 2) conceptualizing the dynamics of transnational DDPs emerging from the increased scale and complexity, thus helping further evaluation, study and design of such processes, 3) continuing international co-operation in research and design activities in the field and 4) helping in adoption and deployment of the results of transnational deliberations in national policy contexts.
